A Legacy of Voice, Vision, and Service

For over three decades, I have had the privilege of being a guest in Caymanian homes, sharing the stories that shape our islands. My journey has been defined by a commitment to truth, a passion for storytelling, and a deep seated belief that “happiness isn’t found in getting more, but in being kinder.”

Below are the key chapters of my professional journey from the early days of broadcast news to the launch of my own creative ventures.

The Early Years: Setting the Foundation

1990s The Beginning of a Broadcast Career: Embarked on a lifelong journey in media, beginning with the foundational work that would lead to becoming the longest serving Caymanian TV news presenter.
Cayman 27 Veteran: Spent many formative years at Cayman 27, where I honed the skills of on air talent, producer, and news director, becoming a trusted face in the community.

Building a National Voice

Founding Anchor of CIGTV: Joined the Cayman Islands Government (CIG) as a consultant at the inception of CIG Television. I served as the founding anchor and producer, helping to build the government’s primary broadcast news platform from the ground up.
13 Years of Public Service: Dedicated over a decade to the Department of Communications (CIGTV), eventually serving as News Director and Senior News Producer. I played a key role in developing news formats, monitoring guidelines, and crisis communication strategies.
Chief Officer’s Award (2024): Recognized for excellence and commitment within the Cabinet Office, a testament to a career built on credibility and professionalism.

The Entrepreneurial Leap

Launch of Coco Lantern Media: Established a creative hub focused on high quality media production, communications consulting, and on camera coaching.
Founder of We Do I Do's & More: Bridged the gap between media expertise and event celebrations, offering professional emcee services and event hosting that brings warmth and clarity to life’s biggest moments.

Recent Highlights & Special Projects

The "Timeback" Series: Collaborated with Compass TV to produce and host the Timeback mini documentary series, an exploration of Caymanian history and culture that allowed me to return to my roots as a master storyteller.
A New Chapter in Advocacy: Recently transitioned from the newsroom to the public arena, bringing a lifetime of community knowledge and a "voice for the people" to new platforms of service.
